You should check your resources if he is really in jail. Let's not make false accusations without knowing the full facts.

In response to: Christians Calling Christians Cults

I especially agree with your number 5.
The reason being that it is really the media that determines what the majority sees. Then the majority will judge only based on the information they are handed. And there are so many things to consider. Some are just too lazy to look into anything, some just don't care, and some are simply misinformed.

The Bible should be our absolute authority but somewhere down the line, we put the Pope, the scribes, and theologians as our authorities.

Good quotes of bible scriptures, by the way.

In response to: Christians Calling Christians Cults

I totally agree. If you look at the bible and history all the people sent by God where considered a cult and persecuted, outcast, beaten and even crucified. For example: Elijah,"who was considered a trouble maker at his time by the King; Daniel, "for praying to God 3times a day"; Martin Luther, who started the reformation; Isaiah who was sawed in two; Jeremiah who was stoned; Peter crucified upside down and many others. Why?
 For several reasons I think:
1.Personal opinions and religious ignorance.
2.Ignorace of the history of God, how God works
3.No one reads the bible anymore!!!
4.If you notice God always sent one person so it's easy to attack them.
5.Power of the majority. "That doesn't mean they are correct."
6 and many more....

I used to study about cults until I realized how wrong the cult awareness organization was. Now i can not say anything about them until I see there fruits. John 9:30-33 "The man answered,"Now that is remarkable! You don't know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes. We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will. Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. If this man were not from God, he could do nothing."
