What is that? A guy beats up a 91 year old man like a punching bag. Very disturbing, if you ask me. I mean, it's not just once but it's full-force repetitive strikes to this old man's head. The old man is blocking the guy from stealing his car and to break the old man lose, he punches him over and over. He even stops midway to put his jacket over his hand because his hand hurts, then he continues to punch mercilessly.

Question that comes to mind is, "What would drive this man to punch this vulnerable old man?" The car? Is it the car? Is it the fear of getting caught? Again, the question of value comes to mind. What is more valuable? The car or this old man? His security or this old man's well-being?

Another question that comes to mind is, "What is going through the minds of the people videotaping this and don't even think about dropping that damn video to help this helpless old man?"

This got me thinking of other things. When this guy was punching him, it wasn't just the motions. There was anger. Almost as if he was relieving his anger through him. It may have been fear but even so...there was anger. How many of us use our pets, people or even specifically, our children, internet or even ourselves as a punching bag? An outlet to release anger without consideration of harm or the side effects.

Slandering the innocent, gossiping about celebrities, bashing politicians, and definitely including harassing a group or organization of people. When I saw that man beating up that old man, I saw no difference between him and the "weeds" who slander Pastor Joshua and the members of Providence. They are so full of hate and anger towards a group of people they don't even know. And they slander, gossip, bash, and harass without even realizing that they are only doing this to release some pent up anger or issues in their lives. Sad. Pathetic.
